Chroma 7.5" Professional Flexible Filleting Knife
The Chroma P07 Type 301 7.75“ Flexible Filet Knife specializes in separating meat from bone. The flexible blade can easily slice around bones or separate meat from skin. This knife is perfect for filleting fish, jointing, and removing skins from meats.
This 19cm flexible filleting knife uses high-quality Japanese 130 steel on the blade of the knife, and stainless-steel on the handle. Separating the handle and the blade of the knife is a metal “pearl”. This “pearl” will give you more control while you are cutting. Chroma enlisted the help of F.A. Porsche and Jorg Worther to create an astatically pleasing knife.
Chroma Type 301 Knives must be hand washed after every use. Never place these knives in the dishwasher, as it could damage and dull the blade. A dull knife blade is the single most common cause of knife related injury in the kitchen. Type 301 Knives should only be sharpened using the original Type 301 whetstone. Using a sharpening steel could damage the blade. To help maintain the edge of your knife only use wooden or plastic cutting boards. It is recommended that Type 301 knives be sharpened daily when used in a professional setting, and about every six months for hobby cooks.
