A great modification for Ford vehicles with the 1.8 TDCi engine

That is vehicles with the EuroIV Ford 1.8 TDCi engine, which includes 

- Transit Connect (06 on)
- Mondeo (07 on)
- Focus (05 on)
- C-Max (05 on)
- S-Max (06 on)
- Galaxy (06 on)

Precision cut EGR blanking plate made in the UK using high grade stainless steel:  1.4mm steel that is very durable and thin enough to be almost unnoticeable when fitted; will not corrode and will not blow through like the thin aluminium ones you might see on sale

Benefits from blanking off the EGR with this plate include

- Smoother pick up from idle and improved fuel economy
- Quicker turbo spool up
- Prevention of carbon build up inside intake manifold and ports
- Reduced soot output
- Helps extend the life of the DPF

Very easy to fit.  Just loosen the EGR bolts enough to slide the blanking plate into position and then nip back up. There is no need to remove the EGR valve or make any other adjustments

Notes:

1. This will not fit the Euro III engines (with the vacuum operated EGR valve)
2. For diesel engines only
