Karesuando Unna Aksu Small Hatchet Dark Handle - 310g Stainless Steel Head

This beautiful small hatchet by Karesuando is just perfect for the smaller jobs in both home kitchen and camp.

A well crafted stainless steel axe head and ornate handle of stained curly birch, with a moose bone knob and inlay of reindeer antler - this axe will certainly turn heads! It comes with a lovely leather sheath and presentation box, including a piece of reindeer hide for that real, northern Scandinavian touch.

This hatchet is designed to be used primarily in hunting and the kitchen, or for whittling and carving pieces of wood. It is not suitable for heavier work such as splitting or processing wood for the camp fire, and we would suggest the larger Karesuando axe for these type of tasks.
