The Outback Edition series was made to meet the utmost needs of hunters and bushcrafters by being 100 percent outdoor-proof. Silky applied a black coating of a unique blend of nickel and tin to the entire blade, including the teeth. This provides long blade life and incredible cutting performance, while the dark, anti-reflective color makes this saw suitable for tactical operations.

The composite handle is made with a wood/plastic composition: the feel is a little harder than Silky's usual GOM rubber handle, but offers more grip with oily substances.

The Bigboy 2000 multifunctional folding saw with its sturdy, slightly curved 360 mm blade and Extra Large tooth configuration you can reach far and saw easily above shoulder height. It performs the pull stroke, which feels natural and requires little effort. The curve makes the teeth grip the wood with ease and prevents the saw from falling out of the saw cut.

Thanks to the curve there is control in both fresh and dry wood. The blade can be simply bent and opened using the lock button and has two different cutting positions. The hole in the handle offers the possibility of attaching a carabiner or rope to the saw.
