Wood Jewel Classic Puukko Knife - 4.13" Carbon Steel Blade - Curly Birch Handle

This Wood Jewel Puukko Knife is a fine traditional Finnish Puukko knife. This is a great multi-purpose knife that can be used for a variety of small tasks out in the forest or around the campfire. The blade is 10.5cm (3 inches long) long, very sharp, and is made from quality high carbon steel hardened to HRC 63-65 and tempered to HRC 59 to balance ductility and brittleness. The blade extends with an internal tang secured to the top of the handle with a rivet. The blade is natural unpolished carbon black except for the grind.

The handle is made from a curly birch, however please note that since amount of grain in the wood will vary greatly.

The sheath is made from wet-formed vegetable tanned leather and it has a reindeer leather belt hanger attached to it.
